Austin's fund landscape got deeper in late 2025: S3 Ventures closed a $250M Fund VIII that December — its 20th year — with roughly half earmarked specifically for Texas founders. The flip side of the boom is a real correction underway: Bumble cut 240 jobs, about 30% of its global headcount, in June 2025, and Indeed and Glassdoor cut roughly 1,300 more between them.
