Common questions about cloud engineering

Do you do Kubernetes?

We can, but we usually don't. For 90 percent of early-stage SaaS, Vercel + a managed Postgres is faster, cheaper, and more reliable than running k8s. We only set up k8s when there's a real reason — multi-region failover, custom GPU workloads, or compliance with a hard requirement.

Can you migrate us off Heroku / DigitalOcean / Render?

Yes. Most migrations are 3–7 days depending on the database. We do the cutover with zero downtime, leaving the old stack warm for 72 hours in case we need to roll back.

Do you support our existing AWS account?

Yes — we work in your cloud, not ours. We add the minimum IAM permissions to do the work, and revoke them on handover.

What about SOC 2 / ISO?

We can prepare your infra for SOC 2 Type 1 (audit logs, encryption at rest, IAM hygiene). Full compliance program (policies, evidence collection) is out of scope — we'd refer you to Vanta or Drata.

Who owns the code?

You do, from commit one. The repository is created in your GitHub org. Infrastructure is provisioned in your cloud account. We don't host your stack on ours and we don't lock you in.
